Valk Store Fake Products
Attention! There are false Valk Store contests circulating.
Currently, there are fake contests circulating via email suggesting that you can win a prize from Valk Store. For example, you may receive a message asking you to confirm your participation or claim a prize. These are phishing attempts and not official contests.
Examples of fake actions:
- Win a Van der Valk Firm Pillow
- Congratulations! Your Free Van der Valk Pillow
- Last Chance! Your Free Van der Valk Pillow Gift
These are so-called 'phishing actions', a form of internet fraud where fraudsters misuse our name and logo to obtain personal information. We advise you not to engage with this and click on anything. What you can do is:
- Ignore and delete the email.
- Do not click on links and do not enter any information.
- Are you unsure if an email is really from us? Then take contact with us.
- Did you accidentally click on a link? Report this to the cyber police.
This is how you recognize a real Valk Store giveaway
Official Valk Store promotions always come from:
Emails: valkstore@e.valkverrast.com
Social media: Valk Store on Facebook of vandervalkstore on Instagram
Own website: www.valkstore.nl
How do you recognize a fake promotion?
- The sender is not valkstore@e.valkverrast.com.
- The action is being carried out via SMS or WhatsApp spread (we do not use these channels).
- The email puts pressure on you to respond quickly.
- The text often contains spelling mistakes.
- The address at the bottom of the email is not a Dutch address.
What to do with a phishing email?
- Click on nothing, also not on "unsubscribe" or "opt-out".
- Mark the email as phishing.
- Remove the email.
- Report the email to your provider (most providers have a separate page about phishing).
- Report the phishing email to the Fraud Helpdesk.
